ABOUT AVALON

Who We Are

Avalon Advanced Materials Inc. is a Canadian critical minerals company strategically advancing a portfolio of projects that support secure, domestic supply chains for clean energy, advanced manufacturing, and technology sectors. Our focus is on high-value materials with strong demand fundamentals, positioning Avalon to capitalize on the accelerating global shift toward electrification and decarbonization.

Nechalacho Rare Earth Elements (REE) and Zirconium Project

The Nechalacho REE and Zirconium Project in the Northwest Territories hosts a full suite of light and heavy rare earth elements—including neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium, terbium and gadolinium—along with yttrium, zirconium, tantalum, and niobium. These critical minerals underpin high-performance magnets, clean technology, defense applications, and advanced electronics.

Lake Superior Lithium Project

Lake Superior Lithium Inc., located in Thunder Bay, Ontario – set to be Ontario’s first midstream lithium hydroxide processing facility, connecting northern Ontario’s lithium resources with the EV battery manufacturing ecosystem in southern Ontario and North America.

Separation Rapids Ltd.

Through a joint venture with SCR-Sibelco NV, Avalon has a 40% ownership of the Separation Rapids Project near Kenora, Ontario, with a significant measured and indicated resource and exploration underway. Nearby, the Snowbank Target and the Lilypad Project near Fort Hope, Ontario, provide additional supply potential in lithium, cesium, tantalum, and rubidium. Together, these assets form a diversified pipeline of critical minerals to strengthen Canada’s role in the global EV battery supply chain.

In addition to its core projects, Avalon also holds the East Kemptville Tin-Indium Project in Nova Scotia, a brownfield site with potential to re-establish tin production in Canada, and the Warren Township Anorthosite Project in Ontario, which hosts a high-purity industrial mineral resource with applications in glass, ceramics, and other advanced materials. These projects further broaden Avalon’s portfolio and provide optionality for future growth.

Avalon’s strategy integrates strategic assets, innovative processing technologies, and strong partnerships to create long-term value for shareholders and supply essential materials for the industries of the future.
